Surf Style understands travel may not be your first thought, but we want you to know that safety and flexibility are our top priorities. Below are resources we’re providing our guests as well as local updates as the situation evolves.
*NOTE our 60 day cancellation policy is currently still in place. However, exceptions may be made for guests directly impacted by COVID-19 including those who have tested positive for the virus, documented travel restriction, or written doctor-ordered quarantine.

✓ 100% credit & flexible dates for a future stay at the same property for the same or less amount with a check-out date on or before December 31, 2021 (for reservations made on or before May 31, 2020)
✓ Professionally cleaned and disinfected spaces, with top to bottom cleaning of all areas, complete replacement of towels & linens, and extra cleaning supplies onsite

Safe Traveler Pledge
In conjunction with San Diego Tourism Authority and to help ensure the safety of our guests and the local community, we encourage our guests to use safe behaviors & follow the following local ordinances:
✓ Wear a mask or cloth face covering when in public
✓ Maintain at least 6 feet of distance from others when visiting local businesses
✓ Use contactless payment methods whenever possible
✓ Abide by all local government orders or restrictions that may be in place
✓ Follow CDC guidelines for minimizing the spread of Covid-19, including thorough hand-washing for at least 20 seconds
✓ Be patient and kind with staff at hotels, restaurants and attractions as they learn to adapt to new procedures
✓ Effective June 2, 2020: San Diego parks, beaches, boardwalks, parking lots, piers & bays are open.
✓ Effective August 31, 2020: Restaurants, movie theaters, places of worship, zoos & aquariums are permitted to open at 25% capacity. Gyms, yoga and dance studios permitted at 10% capacity. Barber shops, hair salons and nail salons are open for full indoor operations.
✓ Effective Monday, December 7, 2020: there will be a 3 week regional stay at home order for Southern CA, which includes San Diego.
✓ Effective Monday, January 25, 2021: the Regional Stay at Home order has been lifted, San Diego is back in the Purple Tier. Restaurants are open for outdoor dining, museums/theaters/gyms/churches can also resume outdoor activities. Salons, tattoo parlors and barber shops can now open indoors.
✓ Effective Wednesday, March 17, 2021: San Diego has entered into less restrictive “Red Tier” which includes updated capacity limits for the following facilities:
- Indoor dining, Movie theaters, Museums – 25%
- Gyms – 10%
✓ Effective Wednesday, April 7, 2021: San Diego has entered into less restrictive “Orange Tier” which includes updated capacity limits for the following facilities:
- Indoor dining, Movie theaters, Museums – 50%
- Gyms – 50%
- Indoor gatherings – max of 50 people
- Breweries/wineries – 25%
