As our company continues to grow organically, we are able to maintain one of the most competitive management fees in the industry. This enables us to pass along added profits to our homeowners. Our management fee is always 20% Short Term, 15% Monthly Furnished, & 10% Long Term tenancies; this is a fixed fee that does not increase annually. Our service level is always “Full Service,” which helps streamline the management process and maximize our client’s bottom line.

MEET THE TEAM
Cheri
Managing Director
Cheri oversees all aspects of Surf Style operations, bringing over 25 years of experience in property management and hospitality. Her responsibilities include leading team members, resolving escalated guest and homeowner concerns, inspecting and preparing vacant homes, and onboarding new properties into the portfolio. With a strong background in both property management and resort operations, Cheri has successfully managed over 1,500 vacation rentals, consistently delivering exceptional service and operational excellence. Her leadership, industry knowledge, and attention to detail continue to drive the success and growth of the Surf Style brand.
Cassie
Reservations & Revenue Manager
As the Reservations & Revenue Manager, Cassie manages all facets of the booking process. She ensures our software, website, booking platforms and payment processes are synced and functioning seamlessly. She is directly involved in determining pricing strategies, forecasting performance, and researching market trends to maximize our homes' potential and increase occupancy for each listing. Cassie works directly with homeowners to achieve their goals and increase their investment's profitability. After graduating with her Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from San Diego State University, she began her career in residential property management as a leasing agent and worked her way up as a Community Manager for multiple apartment complexes in San Diego. With a love for real estate and beautiful views, she began working with Surf Style in 2020 and has been dedicated to helping the business grow ever since. Cassie has been a licensed CA Realtor since 2021, and she obtained her CA Broker License in 2024.
Dana
Operations Manager
Dana leads all maintenance operations for Surf Style, overseeing daily work orders, emergency response, guest service requests, and preventative maintenance programs to ensure operational efficiency and property reliability across all locations. She holds a degree in Business Management from San Diego State University and brings more than 10 years of industry experience. Dana is known for her strategic approach, operational expertise, and commitment to service excellence.
Kaitlyn
Reservations Specialist
With a passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences, Kaitlyn brings a welcoming and detail-oriented approach to the team. She studied Recreation and Tourism Management, which sparked her love for travel, tourism, and helping guests make the most of their time away. She has always had a passion for all things home, interior design, tourism, and of course, the beach lifestyle. Whether it’s discovering beautifully designed spaces, sharing local recommendations, or helping create memorable vacations, she truly enjoys being part of the experience. Her goal is to make every guest feel welcomed, cared for, and excited for their stay by the coast!
Betsy
Operations Coordinator
With over 30 years rooted in San Diego and nearly a decade in the short-term rental industry, Betsy brings a well-rounded, hospitality-driven approach to property management and the guest experience. Her diverse career spans homeowner and guest services, onboarding, staging and photography preparation, as well as field operations. As a result of this variety, Betsy blends operational excellence with personalized care. From preparing homes to shine to ensuring seamless stays for guests, every detail is handled with professionalism and efficiency. She holds a marketing degree with an emphasis in logistics, which allows her to combine strategic insight with practical execution, streamlining operations for maximum performance and satisfaction. Betsy spends her spare time enjoying friends and family, exploring Mother Nature, volunteering, savoring the city’s diverse cuisine, and attending live concerts and performances.
Chase
Area Field Inspector
Chase joined the Surf Style team in 2023 as an Area Field Inspector. He assists in inspecting and maintaining our San Diego County coastal vacation homes to the highest standard for guest-ready conditions. Chase has a bachelor’s degree in Resort and Lodging Management from Chico State and as a San Diego native, Chase brings a wealth of local knowledge to the team. He previously served as an Assistant Property Manager as well as a Front Desk Agent.
Amy
Area Field Inspector
With over two decades in the hospitality industry, Amy brings a deep passion for creating exceptional guest experiences. A proud local of Mission Beach, Amy has sixteen years of expertise in vacation rental reservations and currently serves as an Area Field Inspector with Surf Style Vacation Homes. Her attention to detail and commitment to quality ensures every stay exceeds expectations. Outside of work, Amy enjoys soaking in the beauty of the beach and bay, embracing the lifestyle that makes this area so special.
Tim
Area Field Inspector
Tim is an Area Home Inspector supporting Surf Style Vacation Homes throughout San Diego County’s coastal communities. A San Diego native, he brings strong local knowledge and a hands-on approach to maintaining homes in guest-ready condition across the company’s coastal property portfolio. Tim oversees detailed property inspections, coordinates preventative maintenance, and works closely with homeowners, vendors, and operations teams to ensure each home meets the company’s high standards for quality and reliability. With a background in hospitality and operations, he is known for his attention to detail, organization, and proactive problem-solving in the field. Proud to serve the community he grew up in, Tim is committed to protecting property quality and delivering exceptional guest experiences across every home he supports.

Eva is the Administrative Assistant at Surf Style, where she helps support daily operations and create a seamless experience for both guests and homeowners. With a passion for hospitality and strong attention to detail, she enjoys helping everything run smoothly behind the scenes. Eva brings a positive, organized, and approachable energy to the team and loves being part of creating memorable guest experiences.
Charlene
Accounting
With over 20 years of experience in tax preparation, accounting, and bookkeeping, Charlene has been delivering financial services as a third-party bookkeeper for Surf Style Vacation Homes since the company began in 2016. Working closely with the team, she specializes in trust accounting practices and builds strong relationships with owners, vendors, and staff. Charlene leverages her educational background in business accounting and extensive field experience to ensure smooth financial management at Surf Style. Additionally, she works at L.F. Hodge & Associates, Inc. in Mission Valley, California, under the guidance of Lawrence F. Hodge, CPA. A proud San Diego native, Charlene combines local expertise with a commitment to excellence in everything she does.
