With so much to do, it can be hard to decide what to squeeze into your trip. We’ve narrowed down our favorite things to do in San Diego, places to see, and restaurants to eat at.

Day 1

Morning
We recommend breakfast at The Mission, or go to our website for other suggestions.
Mid-day
Water sports such as kayaking, paddle boarding, or surfing. You may also enjoy the complimentary boogie boards and sand toys provided at each of our beach homes.
If you’re in the mood for Mexican, try Fat Fish Cantina Grill. You also can’t go wrong with a good burger joint such as Bareback.
Evening
Stroll down Ocean Front Walk boardwalk or catch the sunset off of Crystal Pier.
For a laid back first night, we’ve picked our favorite pizza parlors. Enjoy a casual dinner on the sand with fresh, locally made pizza from Luigis.

Day 2

Morning
The Olive Cafe is a popular spot for breakfast and brunch. For you coffee lovers, Better Buzz Coffee Roasters on Grand Ave has a rooftop.
Mid-day
You can’t go to Mission Beach and not spend a day at Belmont Park.  From Mini Golf and an arcade to the Giant Dipper Roller Coaster, everyone is bound to have a blast.
Between rides, don’t forget to grab a quick bite to eat within the park at Hot Dog on a Stick or Belmonty’s Burgers. Top off the afternoon with ice cream from The Sweet Shoppe, also located inside the park.
Evening
Watch the sunset from the ocean front patio located at Draft. With 69 beers on tap, plenty of TV’s to watch the “big game”, and an unbelievable view of the ocean, you won’t be disappointed.

Day 3

Morning
A quick drive up to La Jolla will bring you to Bird Rock Coffee Roasters and  The Cottage for breakfast.
Mid-day
Visit La Jolla Cove and the Children’s Swimming Pool where you can see seals and sea lions swimming in the water and basking on rocks.
Take a walk down Girard Ave and Prospect Ave where you will find many boutiques and shops.
Jose’s has an outdoor patio with a view of the ocean and to top it off, makes some pretty good margaritas. Right across the street, tide yourself over with handmade natural gelato from Bobboi’s.
Evening
Treat yourself to a fine dining experience at George’s on the Cove or Eddie V’s Prime Seafood.

With plenty of things to do in San Diego, we hope you enjoy your visit. Should you need a place to stay, contact us or browse our beach homes for what is sure to be an unforgettable experience.
